B. 单元重点新词透视
1.damage 作不可数名词或者动词是“毁坏，损害，损失”
Smoking can bring damage to your health . 吸烟会损害你的健康。
The fire has badly damaged the building . 大火严重地烧毁了这座楼房。
测试要点：
(1) cause / do damage to sth 给某物造成损失，damage 的前面可以加表达程度的形容词 great , much , serious , heavy , bad , a lot of , a great deal of , slight , little ，注意不用 small 。
