教学过程
一、导入(lead-in)
1.复习上节所学重点词汇和目标语言。
2.让学生进行对话展示。
说明:通过这两个环节检查学生的掌握情况。
二、教学Grammar focus
1." be going to " 结构
be going to +不定式,表示将来。表示"打算"、"准备、要"的意思,常指按计划或安排将要发生的动作。
a. 主语的意图,即将做某事。
What are you going to do tomorrow?
b. 计划,安排要发生的事。
The play is going to be produced next month。
c. 有迹象要发生的事
Look at the dark clouds, there is going to be a storm.
2. 陈述句基本构成:
主语 + be (am, is, are) + going to+ 动词原形
3. 此外表示将来的一般将来时和"be going to "表将来的区别是什么呢。
一般将来时基本结构是主语 + will(或shall) + 动词原形 + …
我们还没有学过这种用will / shall 表示的将来时态,但书上已经几次出现。在此只掌握它与be going to的区别即可。
(1)当说话人在做一个预测时,(他或她认为将来会发生或出现某种情况),will 和 be going to......都是可以用的。
(2)表达一种事先计划或打算时(说话人打算在将来做某事,因为他已制定了一个计划或决定去做这件事),只能用be going to.
如:He is going to change his job.
他将换一份工作。(表示已经计划好了的。)
(3)而will , shall 则表示未经事先考虑的意图。
如:There is somebody at the door. I'll go and open it.
有人敲门,我去开。
(4)表示意愿时,只能用will。
三、教学Section A -3a, 3b
1. 播放一首歌曲,I have a dream,激起学生对理想的思索。
2.猜测游戏:教师向学生展示一张儿时的照片,让学生猜测照片中的人是谁?由此引出本课内容。
例:Teacher: When I was a little child, I had a lot of dreams. Do you know what they were?
Yes, I wanted to be a teacher. Now my dream came true.
How did I make my dream come true?
What’s your dream?
What are you going to be when you grow up?
3.让学生自己阅读日记,并在不认识的单词和短语下面划线。找一名学生读出这些不懂的单词和短语,其他同学解释。
4.让学生在Tian Tian 要干的事情下面画线,教师订正答案。
5.根据 3a的内容填写表格。并以3b的对话为模式,运用3b的句型,练习对话。
例:A: What are you going to be when you grow up?
B: I am going to be a reporter.
A: How are you going to do that?
B: I’m going to write articles and send them to magazines and newspapers.
A: Where are you going to work?
B: I’m not sure yet. Maybe Beijing or Shanghai.
