第五十五课 Lesson Fifty-five一、教学内容

2.语法:继续复习一般过去时的用法。

三、课堂教学设计
1.值日生报告。
教师可用一般过去时的句型,向学生快速提问,询问学生过去的活动、经历等。
T:(叫起一位同学) What time did you get up yesterday?
Ss:I got up at half past six.
T: What did you have for breakfast?
S1: I had milk and bread.
T:(叫起另一位同学) What time did he/ she get up yesterday?
S2: He/ She got up at half past six.
T: What did he/ she have for breakfast?
S2: He/ She had milk and bread for breakfast.
T: What time did you leave home yesterday morning?
S2: I left home at twenty past seven.
(再叫第三位同学继续提问。这种做法,有利于使全班同学都集中注意力,效果较好。)
2.打开书看图。利用图片,介绍本课生词。
3.依照前面做法处理这段阅读。给学生7分半钟时间(本段对话计约243个词)。教师板书两个读前提问 (Pre-reading questions):
1) Where did Mrs Turner put her ticket? 2) Where was Mr Turners ticket?
规定时限过后,引导学生回答黑板上的问题。
4.放课文录音,学生跟读两遍。教师解释课文中的难句(见难点讲解1~4)。
组织学生做练习册习题1,先以口头形式回答问题,再用书面形式答在作业本上(可作为家庭作业布置给学生)。
布置习题3,要求学生以习题3为蓝本,准备复述课文(句子可以少一些)。
5.指导学生利用学过的拼读知识,试拼习题2中不规则动词过去式的读音。教师最后再领读两遍。
6.布置作业
1)练习朗读本课课文;2)完成习题1~3;3)准备复述课文。
四、难点讲解
1.Tickets, please! 请出示车票。
在日常生活中,这样简洁的例子是不少的。例如:
1) Only five years? =Did you live there for only five years? (第四十九课)
2) Han Meimei: Lucy, are you hungry? Lucy: Yes, a little.----Im a little hungry. (第十课第1部分)
2.I thought it was in my coat. 我以为票在我的外衣里。
这是一个含有宾语从句的复合句。 it was in my coat是主句中谓语thought的宾语。it指上文提到过的车票。本课类似的句子还有:
I thought I put it in my coat, …我以为我把它放进外衣里了……。
I hope you can find it. 希望你能找到它。
3.Im coming back in a minute. 我一会儿再过来。
这句话的结构虽是现在进行时,但却表示将要发生的动作。除come外,go, leave等动词也有同样功能。例如:
Im leaving tomorrow. 我明天就走了。
4.madam,女士;夫人; Sir,先生
以上都是对不认识的男子和女子的尊称。
